Widgets are the whole point of Konfabulator. From the official Konfabulator website:
- "Widgets can do pretty much whatever you want them to. Widgets can be alarm clocks [1], calculators [2], can tell you your WiFi signal strength [3], will fetch the latest stock quotes for your preferred symbols [4], and even give your current local weather [5]."
Konfabulator ships with several "base Widgets" created by Yahoo!, and there is a Widget Gallery full of user-contributed Widgets (2,914 as of July 15, 2006).
